Privacy Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Clip Smasher ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. The short version: Clip Smasher does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data. Everything the App does happens locally on your device.

1. Data we collect

None. Clip Smasher has no user accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising SDKs and no crash-reporting services. The App does not require an internet connection to function and does not send any data from your device to us or to third parties.

2. Your media files

When you import videos, audio or images into the App, copies are stored in the App's private storage on your device so your projects keep working even if the originals move. These files:

Videos you export are saved to your device's gallery at your request, and sharing an exported video uses your device's standard share function — where it goes from there is up to you and the app you share it with.

3. Permissions the App requests

The App does not access your contacts, location, camera, microphone or any other sensitive data.

4. Children's privacy

Because the App collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from any user of any age.

5. Third-party services

The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services. If you download the App from Google Play, Google may process data (such as install statistics) under its own privacy policy, which we do not control — see Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Data retention and deletion

All App data (projects, imported media, templates and exports kept in App storage) lives only on your device. You can delete it at any time by deleting items within the App or by uninstalling the App. Since we hold no copies, there is nothing for us to delete on our side.

7. Changes to this policy

If a future version of the App changes how data is handled, we will update this policy and revise the "Last updated" date above before the change takes effect.
