Clipsmasher edits media you already have. You bring in video, audio and images, and the app trims, arranges, grades, mixes and renders them. It does not generate footage, images, scenes, avatars or voices, and there is no prompt box that produces a video out of a description.
What is unusual about it is the second way to drive it. Alongside the normal timeline there is a box you can type or dictate an editing instruction into, in your own words. The app reads that instruction locally and carries it out as one step you can undo with one press. If there is a clause it cannot follow it changes nothing at all and asks you to retype just that part, because half an edit you did not ask for is worse than no edit.
